When we have character--we have hope.

Romans 5: 3-4 talks about how we should glory in tribulations.  Not easy.  But when you read the rest in verse 4, it tells us why we should glory--because tribulations ultimately produce character which gives us hope.  (3--…but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4--and perseverance, character; and character, hope.)
So it’s character that produces hope?  Does this mean that without character, we have no hope?  What does this say about our future in the United States?  Do you see enough character around you in this country to give you hope?  No matter the answer--we all can have hope in our Heavenly Father--His character is perfect!!
